⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Found this when I did a Google search for new TT romance. Seems to be the author's first novel. Honestly, it doesn't read like a first foray. It's actually pretty good. My personal preference in fiction is 3rd person POV, so that's a big plus. In most TT romance, the female MC travels back in time and, has to adjust to the different era, and love ensues. So, yes, it's pretty faithful to this formula. However, for fans of the genre, we know the traveler has to go through this; restrictive clothing, restrictive mores of the time, lack of modern convenience, etc. But sometimes I feel like, okay.. we get it. Things are different, get on with the story. So it takes skill to cover those bases while keeping the reader engaged, and moving the story along. Kudos to Ms Madsen.

I've been frustrated with not finding anything new that I actually enjoyed reading. A nice change to find this one! Can recommend.

Oh, if you don't like cats, or pets playing a significant role in your romance stories, you may not be a fan. But, if you're a cat person, this could definitely be your cup of tea.
